Let me start by thanking all of the participants, volunteers, and sponsors who made the first Green Jeans 5k and Papa's Kids Fun Run this last Saturday a wonderful success. We could not have had such a successful race without each and everyone one of you!
A few things:
If you did not receive a race t-shirt because you missed the race or because we ran out of your size, please send us an email or a Facebook message with your address so that we can mail those to you.
Complete race results have been posted on this blog and on the Facebook page. They are located in the "Pages" section of this blog.
We have a ton of pictures, and those will be posted very soon on both the Facebook page and the blog. If you see a picture of you or someone you know, feel free to "tag" yourself or your friends. Enjoy the pictures from our wonderful photographer!
Also, we had 200 pairs of socks donated to Rock the Sock! These socks are going to help give the gift of warm feet to those who need it. More information on where they are being donated will be posted at a later date. You can always keep up with Rock the Sock through their blog.
A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this first race possible! We were able to donate socks to Rock the Sock, have a great time, and remember Ronnie Green in such a great way. See you next year!
